BTS's V has proven his solo power, topping the list as the Korean solo artist with the highest increase in followers on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, for June.

According to the K-POP RADAR, a K-pop specific chart show, V recorded an increase of 417,131 followers on Spotify in June, securing the first place in the solo artist ranking. Overall, he ranks third, following BTS and BLACKPINK, demonstrating high ranking both as a group and individually.

Despite not yet releasing an official solo album, V possesses the third-highest number of followers among K-pop soloists. As of July 7, his total follower count stands at 13,798,045.

Without any official solo activities, he's consistently attracted listeners with just three drama OST tracks, proving his capabilities as a solo artist. Last year, he topped the '2022 Spotify K-pop Solo Follower Increase Ranking,' demonstrating his unparalleled position as the strongest solo artist.

V's OSTs rank first and second for the 'Most Streamed K-OST' on Spotify.

These include his self-composed track 'Sweet Night,' an OST for 'Itaewon Class,' and 'Christmas Tree,' the OST for 'That Year, We.' With these two OSTs alone, V has recorded over 600 million streams, showcasing his reliability as the 'King of OSTs.'

In addition to his lyrically-strong OSTs, V is also recognized as one of the members with the widest musical spectrum, including jazz and R&B. His unique colors, hard to fully express within the group activities, have become more vibrant through his self-composed tracks like '4 O'Clock,' 'Scenery,' 'Winter Bear,' and 'Snow Flower,' which he released for free on SoundCloud.

His recently released jazz number 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' and cover video of 'Cheek to cheek' have garnered over 10 million views, receiving warm love from global fans.
