Super Junior member Kyuhyun is set to meet audiences through the musical 'Ben-Hur'. This marks his return to the stage after two years since 'Frankenstein'.

According to a report on the 30th, Kyuhyun has been cast in the title role of Judah Ben-Hur in the musical 'Ben-Hur'. 'Ben-Hur' is a work that captures a sublime human story of hardship, adversity, love, and devotion through a man's life, based on the best-selling novel by Lew Wallace released in 1880.

'Ben-Hur' is making its return after a long hiatus since its last performance in 2019. Particularly, this season is newly presented by EMK, so musical fans' expectations are high. Previously, it was praised by audiences as the 'best original musical beyond a major licensed show', based on its meticulous narrative, vibrant stage, and dramatic music.

Starting with the musical 'The Three Musketeers' in 2010, Kyuhyun showcased his box-office power through 'Catch Me If You Can', 'The Man Who Laughs', and 'Phantom'. Not only that, he continues to be active in group and solo activities, as well as in variety shows such as 'Hangout with Yoo', 'Naked World History', and 'Walk to the Edge'.

Meanwhile, 'Ben-Hur', in which Kyuhyun is cast, will open on September 2nd at the LG Art Center Signature Hall.
