BTS's Jungkook has set a record as the Korean solo artist to reach 300 million streams in the shortest time with his World Cup song, 'Dreamers.' The official soundtrack of the '2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup' released by Jungkook on November 20 last year, 'Dreamers,' has surpassed 300 million streams on the world's largest music platform, Spotify.

'Dreamers' achieved a total of 316,390,000 streams just 217 days after its release. It also consistently records over 700,000 streams daily, proving its sustained popularity among listeners worldwide.

Particularly according to 'chart data,' a Twitter account that updates global music charts in real-time, 'Dreamers' has set a new record as the fastest Korean solo track to reach 300 million streams, extending its record once again. Earlier, 'Dreamers' had broken records by reaching 100 million streams in the shortest duration of 35 days, and 200 million streams in the shortest duration of 110 days for any K-pop solo song. In April, it also set the record for the most streams in 2023, with 1 billion streams.

At the time of its release, 'Dreamers' also established a debut record by entering the Spotify Global Chart at the highest rank for an Asian solo artist, 2nd place. Recently, it also topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 105 countries(regions).

'Dreamers' was the first World Cup official soundtrack ever to top the US Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart and claimed the number one spot on the World Digital Song Sales Chart for two consecutive weeks. It also made history as the first World Cup song to rank first in over 100 countries on iTunes on its release day.

Furthermore, since the establishment of his Spotify account, Jungkook has achieved 900 million streams in the shortest period of 372 days among Korean artists, with just three songs, including 'Dreamers,' 'Stay Alive,' and 'Left and Right.'

Jungkook also officially entered the 'Guinness World Records' as the K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams in the shortest time with just three songs on his official Spotify account, including 'Dreamers,' the webtoon OST 'Stay Alive,' and the collaboration 'Left and Right.'
