BLACKPINK's Jennie exited the stage midway through a concert in Melbourne, Australia, due to health issues, escalating fans' concerns about the group's demanding schedule.

On the 11th, the group's agency, YG Entertainment, announced through the fan community Weverse, "During the BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN MELBOURNE concert today, member Jennie was unable to continue due to health concerns."

They added, "Jennie intended to continue with the concert until the end, but based on the recommendation of the onsite medical staff, we decided to prioritize her rest and recovery. Jennie conveys her apologies to the fans and promises to recover swiftly."

YG Entertainment stated, "We apologize to the fans who have been supporting BLACKPINK and who attended the concert. We kindly ask for your understanding. Our company will do its utmost to support Jennie in recovering her condition quickly."

BLACKPINK, which includes Jennie, is currently carrying out one of the largest K-pop girl group world tours, expected to attract approximately 1.5 million attendees. The tour, which started with a performance in Seoul last October, has barely had any breaks except for February and has been ongoing weekly, intensifying fans' concerns about the members' health.

In addition, Jennie has had a busy personal schedule, walking the red carpet at the '76th Cannes International Film Festival' last month as an actress for the American HBO series 'The Idol,' and participating in various events as a brand ambassador for luxury brand Chanel. This has led to worries that her health may be under strain.

With Jennie now focused on resting and recovering, there are concerns about the group's scheduled tour performances in Sydney, Australia, set to take place on the 17th and 18th of this month.

Previously, Jisoo had to miss a concert in Osaka, Japan, due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
