BTS Jin's Debut Solo Track 'Tonight' Tops iTunes Charts in 22 Countries, Highlighting Global Popularity

BTS member Jin's solo song 'Tonight' has shone in global popularity, achieving number one on iTunes charts in 22 countries.

'Tonight' is Jin's first-ever self-composed track and was released as special content during the '2019 BTS Festa' to celebrate their 6th anniversary since debut. After a preview on BTS's official social media and SoundCloud, it was officially released on all streaming platforms in October of the previous year.

Upon its release, the song hit number one in 14 countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Colombia on the 'iTunes Top Songs' chart. Subsequently, it added Kazakhstan, India, Belarus, and Singapore to its list, and on June 4, it achieved number one in the Philippines, marking number one in 21 countries. The same day, it topped the charts in Vietnam, recording a total of 22 countries where it ranked first - a remarkable achievement.

'Tonight' is a heartfelt song where Jin expresses his sincere affection for his departed pet with a compelling deep tone. Its lyrical content and sense of longing not only touch those with pets but also resonate deeply with fans, stirring poignant emotions.

Jin has consistently shown his love for animals, even donating food, bowls, blankets, and more to the Korean Animal Rights Advocates on his birthday.
