K-pop group CIX (CIX) concludes their 'OK' series, portraying the comedies and tragedies of youth.

CIX, consisting of members BX, Seunghun, Bae Jinyoung, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk, hosted an online and offline showcase to celebrate the release of their sixth EP ''OK' Episode 2: I'm OK' on the afternoon of the 29th at Yonsei University Centennial Memorial Hall, Seoul.

The album ''OK' Episode 2: I'm OK' narrates the story of finding one's unique color amidst the turmoil of youth. CIX sings about the most beautiful and tragic times, taking keywords such as wandering, pain, hope, and praise. The last chapter of the 'OK' series is filled with songs of encouragement and praise dedicated to all youths of this era.

The title track, 'Save Me, Kill Me,' is a medium tempo, future bass styled song that sings about the relentless longing to find a fervently desired existence.

Leader BK emphasized that this album concludes the 'OK' series. Yonghee also highlighted that they had received the title track a long time ago and had put a lot of effort into preserving its feeling. He noted they practiced a lot on expressions and added choreography.

Additionally, the album includes a total of four songs: 'Back to Life,' expressing the desire to return to happier times, 'Curtain Call,' with an attractive acoustic guitar and dreamy whistle line, and 'Color,' which presents a rocking yet emotional melody.

CIX, having encapsulated various aspects of youth in their music, also pondered over the comedy and tragedy of youth. Hyunsuk commented, "In our view, youth seems beautiful and vibrant for most people." He added, "I think encountering new people and experiences when first stepping into society can be fascinating and beautiful. There is certainly a tragic aspect that accompanies that."

He further explained, "We, as CIX, have received and continue to receive a lot of love. However, we have our own struggles and concerns, and those aspects might seem tragic."

BX also shared his experience participating in the 'Save Me, Kill Me' music video, which felt like a part of a movie. He confessed, "All four members have experienced drama and movie filming. I don't have acting experience. There were scenes where I had to yell and act angry, but they were cut." He showed an awkward smile.

He added, "It was quite challenging to immerse myself in the emotions. I realized how much effort the members must have put into filming." He expressed his gratitude, saying, "The members helped me relax by joking around."

Additionally, the members mentioned their goals for this activity. They added, "We really miss our international fans. We would also love to do a local tour in our own country."
