BLACKPINK's Jennie has shared her extraordinary ambition amid consecutive 'career highs'.

On May 26, Vogue Japan revealed the contents of an interview with Jennie (27). Jennie expressed her ambition and gratitude for her burgeoning career as a singer.

Currently on a world tour, BLACKPINK's Jennie named Africa as her next desired concert location. She expressed excitement about wanting to visit many places, remarking that the time spent with her bandmates during the tour would become fond memories. Jennie stated, "Every stage of my career has been important, but the current world tour, where I get to meet BLINKs (BLACKPINK's fandom) from around the world whom I haven't seen in a long time, is particularly memorable." She expressed sincere gratitude.

Last April, BLACKPINK became the first Asian headliner at 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' (hereinafter 'Coachella'), one of the largest music festivals in the U.S. Jennie conveyed her pride, saying, "We've grown since we first performed at Coachella in 2019. Look forward to the growth of BLACKPINK."

Jennie also confidently spoke about the inspiration and driving force behind her musical endeavors. She emphasized, "I have a curious nature and no hesitation in trying new things. Also, I have clear likes and dislikes, which makes it easy to find what suits and is necessary for me." Despite her busy schedule, she revealed she's exploring various music genres and meeting with many people to contemplate 'what music expresses me.'

In the interview, Jennie mentioned SZA as an artist she'd like to work with. After listening to SZA's recent album 'SOS', she expressed a new dream, saying, "I'd like to work with her someday."

Meanwhile, Jennie is set to make her acting debut through HBO's 'The Idol'. 'The Idol' has been under scrutiny and harsh criticism since its first screening at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
