Stray Kids Shatter Record: First Fourth-Gen K-pop Boy Group to Hit 400 Million Views with 'God's Menu' MV
Stray Kids have etched their names in the annals of K-pop history, being the first fourth-generation boy group to reach 400 million views with their music video for 'God's Menu'.
Debuted in June 2020, the music video for 'God's Menu', the lead single of their first full-length album, surpassed 400 million views on YouTube around 6 a.m. on the 24th. This achievement solidifies Stray Kids' status as a leading K-pop act, once again demonstrating their immense popularity.
The title track 'God's Menu' from their debut album 'GO LIVE' was penned and composed by the group's internal producing team 3RACHA, helping solidify Stray Kids' identity. The track's addictive melody and unique lyrics, set against striking backdrops like a kitchen and a car racing track in the music video, left a strong impression on K-pop fans worldwide.
Along with 'God's Menu', Stray Kids has showcased their strong presence on YouTube, with a total of nine music videos, including 'Back Door', 'MIROH', 'My Pace', 'Voices', 'MANIAC', 'Hellevator', 'Christmas EveL', and 'CASE 143', all joining the 100 million views club.
Continuing their global prominence, the group has also exerted their influence in the world music market. In 2022, their mini-albums 'ODDINARY' and 'MAXIDENT' released in March and October respectively, both topped the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200', marking a significant milestone in the group's growth.
