BLACKPINK's 'How You Like That' dance video has surpassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on May 10 (KST), BLACKPINK's 'How You Like That' dance video surpassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube around 5:35 PM the previous day. It has been about 2 years and 10 months since its release on July 6, 2020, making it the first and most viewed dance video in K-pop history.

With this achievement, BLACKPINK now holds a total of four videos with over 1.4 billion views among their 41 YouTube contents with billions of views. Previously, 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' (2 billion views), 'Kill This Love' (1.7 billion views), and 'BOOMBAYAH' (1.5 billion views) had reached the same milestone.

The explosive view count of their dance videos is a testament to BLACKPINK's exclusive appeal and the insatiable interest of global fans in their performances. As 'How You Like That' dance video continues to gain popularity, surpassing the views of the original music video (1.2 billion views), expectations for future growth remain high.

'How You Like That' is a song with a message encouraging resilience and soaring high in any situation. In 2020, it won 'Song of The Summer' at the MTV Video Music Awards and ranked first in YouTube's 'Global Top Summer Song.'

The song's success was also strong in terms of music charts. Upon release, it achieved a 'Perfect All-Kill' on domestic music charts and ranked 2nd on Spotify's Global Top 50 chart, 20th on the UK Official Singles Top 100, and 33rd on Billboard's Hot 100, making a notable impact in the mainstream pop market.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently holding the largest scale K-pop girl group world tour, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK],' attracting approximately 1.5 million people. Following the ongoing successful Asia tour, the group has stadium tours in Paris, France, and four North American cities ahead. In July, they will become the first K-pop artists to headline the British music festival 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival.'
