SM Entertainment has changed the venue for their group SHINee's fan meeting in response to fans' protests.

On May 4th, SM Entertainment announced through the fan communication platform Kwangya Club, "The SHINee 15th anniversary fan meeting will be held on the 27th and 28th with a total of 2 performances at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium. We ask for a lot of interest from fans."

According to the announcement, the SHINee 15th anniversary solo fan meeting, titled 'Everyday is SHINeeDAY: Piece of SHINE,' will be held at 6 PM on the 27th and at 4 PM on the 28th. The second day's performance on the 28th will be live-streamed through Beyond Live. Ticket prices are set at 99,000 KRW for all seats.

Initially, SM Entertainment had booked Hall 7 of the KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan for the SHINee fan meeting. Hall 7 is composed entirely of flat seating without any elevation, resulting in severely limited visibility for most seats. This led to criticism from SHINee fans, known as SHINee World, who questioned whether SM Entertainment had been careless in their planning and booking for the event.

In response, SM Entertainment posted a notice on Kwangya Club on May 2nd, stating, "We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans ahead of SHINee and SHINee World's 15th anniversary," and that they were looking for a new venue.

Meanwhile, this fan meeting marks the first time in about 4 years and 8 months that SHINee members Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin will meet their fans directly as a team since their fan meeting in September 2018. SHINee is currently preparing for a full-member comeback to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary on the 25th. It is reported that they are in the final stages of preparing their new album.
