The drama 'I was Fooled,' starring singer-actress IU and actor Park Bo-gum, has apologized for causing public disturbance during their filming.

On April 27, the production company Pan Entertainment said, "We sincerely apologize to the citizens who experienced inconvenience." They added, "We tried to minimize discomfort while ensuring safe filming and preventing spoilers, but we failed to pay more careful attention to those who took their precious time to visit."

Previously, a post titled "Gochang Canola Flower Festival Drama Filming" was uploaded to the online community Nate Pann.

A person, referred to as A, who claimed to have visited Gochang Academy Farm's Canola Flower Festival, explained, "There was some filming going on near the canola flower field. I was walking and taking pictures in the field when a staff member blocked the path and said, 'You can't go this way because we're filming.'"

A continued, "So I went another way and tried to take a picture of the canola flowers in the direction of the filming with my camera, but someone yelled, 'Don't take pictures.' The filming was very far away, but they didn't even let us take pictures of the canola flowers," expressing their dissatisfaction.

A further shared their frustration, "The filming took up a large part of the huge flower field, so we couldn't even step on the ground in that direction. It's a festival for everyone to enjoy, but visitors had to be mindful of the filming and left with a bad mood. We spent time and money to create good memories, but it was all ruined."

Complaints from citizens about filming locations are not a one-time occurrence. In March last year, Netflix's original series "Mask Girl" staff was criticized for littering and causing noise at night, leading to an apology from Netflix.

In May of the same year, the drama "History of Losers," starring actor Jo Byeong-kyu, faced criticism for blocking a resident's front door with parked vehicles during filming. As the controversy grew, the production team visited the post's author, referred to as C, to apologize.

In addition, several dramas have been criticized for causing inconvenience to residents or violating traffic regulations during filming. While completing filming within the given time is crucial, the production team's careful consideration and respect for residents are now more important than ever.
