BTS member Jungkook's solo song 'Euphoria' has showcased its strong music power by recording over 1 million sales in the United States.

'Chart Data,' an official account that delivers real-time updates on worldwide music charts, highlighted the impressive achievement of 'Euphoria' selling over 1 million units in the US as a K-pop solo song, as of April 16th (Korean time).

Despite being a Korean song, Jungkook's 'Euphoria' has achieved significant and valuable success by selling over 1 million units in the US, boasting its powerful music influence.

'Euphoria' has earned eligibility for the RIAA Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

'Euphoria' is the first BTS solo song to sell over 1 million units in the US. In response, 'Euphoria' producer and Grammy Award winner 'DJ Swivel' celebrated the milestone by sharing "Platinum baby!" on social media.

He also expressed his emotional thoughts, saying, "This is one of the proudest moments of my career so far. And most importantly, thank you to Jungkook for making this song special."

Previously, 'Euphoria' was the first Korean male idol solo song to achieve over 500,000 unit sales in the US. It also reached the top spot on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart and simultaneously demonstrated long-term box office power as the first and longest-charting Korean idol solo song for 91 weeks.

'Euphoria' achieved a great record by entering iTunes charts in over 93 countries, including reaching the 5th spot on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, 84th on the 'UK Official Singles' weekly chart, 47th on Japan's largest streaming portal Recochoku's digital single chart, 2nd on Line Music, 4th on Apple Music Japan, 1st on Apple Music China, and 1st in Taiwan, Peru, and Saudi Arabia.

'Euphoria' ranked first, the highest among all BTS members' solo songs, in the 'Top 100 Best BTS Songs' selected by the American popular music media 'Rolling Stone' in 2022.

In addition to 'Euphoria,' Jungkook has already recorded over 1 million unit sales in the US with 'Left and Right,' a collaboration with singer-songwriter and pop star Charlie Puth, released in February. He has set a new 'million-seller' record as a K-pop idol, achieving this feat in the 'shortest time.'
