All former and current members of the group ASTRO are mourning at the funeral of the late Moonbin.

Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 19th at 8:10 pm (KST). He was 25 years old. In accordance with his family's wishes, the funeral will be held as quietly as possible, with family, friends, and company colleagues in attendance.

Fantagio, the group's agency, said on the 20th, "Moonbin has suddenly left our side and become a star in the sky. All of us at Fantagio, including the ASTRO members who have been together for a long time, are deeply mourning his loss in great sorrow and shock."

ASTRO debuted in February 2016 with their first mini-album 'Spring Up.' However, the six members-MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, Yoon San-ha, and Rocky-were selected through the 2014 'Lotte World Rising Star Concert.' Including their pre-debut trainee days, they have been together for even longer.

Jinjin and San-ha have been at the funeral since late at night after hearing the sudden news. MJ, who is currently serving in the military, took an emergency leave and visited the funeral home in the morning. Rocky, who left the team in February, is also with the family to comfort them.

Cha Eun-woo was scheduled to return on the 24th after attending a luxury brand D-show in LA as an ambassador on the 10th. However, upon hearing the news, he hastily returned to Korea and headed to the funeral home.

With the arrival of MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon San-ha, and Rocky, all former and current members who debuted as ASTRO have gathered at Moonbin's funeral.

Meanwhile, Moonbin's funeral is being held at Seoul Asan Hospital, and the funeral procession will take place privately at 8 am on the 22nd. Moonbin's younger sister, Moon Sua from the group Billlie, has registered as the chief mourner.
