As large idol groups continue their comebacks in April, solo artists are also making headlines with their own brilliant comebacks.

BTS Suga, HIGHLIGHT's Lee Gi-kwang, Park Ji-hoon, and Lee Chae-yeon are among the solo artists making back-to-back comebacks.

Park Ji-hoon and Lee Chae-yeon returned simultaneously on April 12. Both artists share a common background as alumni of Mnet's 'Produce 101.' Park Ji-hoon was active in the group Wanna One from 2017 to January 2019, while Lee Chae-yeon was active in the group IZ*ONE from 2018 to April 2021.

Park Ji-hoon is releasing his seventh mini-album, "Blank or Black." Six months after releasing his sixth album, "The Answer," in October last year, he returns with a new release. "Blank or Black" is expected to intertwine with Park Ji-hoon's unique deep narrative. The album features six songs, including the title track "Blank Effect," "Gemini," "Black Hour," "Matador," "Gambit," and "Crashing For." Fans also look forward to Park Ji-hoon's acting in the music video, as he recently captivated viewers with his exceptional acting skills in 'Weak Hero Class 1.'

Lee Chae-yeon is making a comeback with her second mini-album, "Over the Moon." Approximately six months after releasing her first mini-album, "Hush Rush," in October last year, she plans to capture attention with her powerful and delicate dance moves. The title track "Knock" leaves a lasting impression with its addictive hooks and beats, conveying a proactive and ambitious message: "I won't wait, I'll knock on your heart first."

Other stars are also reaching out to fans as solo artists, rather than as complete groups.

On April 17, HIGHLIGHT's Lee Gi-kwang returns with his first solo studio album in nearly four years, raising expectations. Titled "Predator," the album captures Lee Gi-kwang's unique voice and musical colors.

As his first full-length album, Lee Gi-kwang includes a total of 12 songs, elevating the album's completion. The tracklist features the title track 'Predator', 'Favorite', 'Beautifully', 'Anxiety', 'I'm Not You', 'Out of Control', 'Universe', 'Zellus', 'Going Down', 'Lil' Rogers', 'Blind', and even 'Dive'. Fans eagerly anticipate the new side Lee Gi-kwang will show in this release.

On April 21, BTS Suga joins fellow group members Jin, RM, J-Hope, and Jimin as the fifth solo artist. Notably, Suga introduces his first solo album under his other persona, Agust D, increasing anticipation. With BTS' Jimin recently topping Billboard's "Hot 100," fans wonder what new charms Suga will reveal.

Suga's solo album, "D-Day," includes 10 tracks, such as the pre-released "People Part.2, feat. IU," the title track "Haegeum (a musical instrument)," "D-Day," "Huh?!," "Amygdala," "SDL," "Geugya (Polar Night)," "Interlude: Dawn," "Snooze," and "Life Goes On" Agust D version. J-Hope also features on the track 'Heh?!,' drawing attention to the synergy between the two artists. After releasing "D-Day," Suga will embark on a world tour starting on April 26th, with stops in the United States, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Seoul.

With these shining solo stars returning to the scene, fans can look forward to an exciting month filled with exceptional music and performances. As the artists showcase their unique talents and individual charms, the anticipation for their comebacks continues to grow.
