The agency of K-pop boy band EPEX, C9 Entertainment released a statement on January 6 to give an update about the cancellation of "Eight Apex", the band's US tour.

The agency stated that the tour's cancellation was because of an internal issue between the organizers. Furthermore, fans who had bought tickets should be receiving a refund via MyMusicTaste. The statement ended by asking fans for their understanding.

The full statement said that the first concert by the group in the US, named "Eight Apex", which was scheduled to begin on February 3 and go on until February 18 was canceled because of the organizers' internal issues.

The agency directed fans who had purchased tickets to refer to the notice for refund and details on MyMusicTaste.

Meanwhile, the detailed list of concert shows that have been canceled is as follows:

February 3, Friday - Palladium Times Square, New York, NY

February 5, Sunday - Santander Performing Arts Center, Reading, Pennsylvania

February 7, Tuesday - Buckhead Theatre, Atlanta, Georgia

February 9, Thursday - The Metro, Chicago, Illinois

February 12, Sunday - House of Blues, Dallas, Texas

February 13, Monday - House of Blues, Houston, Texas

February 15, Wednesday - House of Blues, Las Vegas, Nevada

February 17, Friday - The Vermont, Los Angeles, California

February 19, Sunday - Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco, California

Nine shows in nine different cities across the US were canceled in total.

Fans of the band expressed concern after the announcement, with some of them saying that the tour was probably canceled due to poor sales of tickets.

Incidentally, there were earlier reports that the tour's ticket sales were less than 30 percent of the sales level and capacity and that the shows could be canceled if there were less than three weeks between low ticket sales and the concerts.

In fact, fans had urged other fans to purchase tickets, so that it would not lead to the whole US tour getting canceled, but it seems that is what finally happened.

Some fans said that they hoped the band does not feel responsible for this debacle as it is the fault of the band's agency C9 Entertainment and MyMusicalTaste as they placed the concert venues at halls that were far too big and the ticket prices were also steep. Therefore, EPEX should not feel guilty.
