Music producer and singer of Autumn vacation the indie duo as well as K-pop composer Jung Dae Wook aka Bobby Jung aka Jung has been sentenced to one yer year in jail for illegally shooting a woman nude without her consent.

The Seoul Western District Court, South Korea has given Bobby Jung one year of imprisonment, 40 hours of education on sexual violence, and a 5-year ban from employment in any facilities that service disabled people, youths, or children.

According to the final verdict of the court, Jung shot the victim's body without consent, illegally because of which the victim is experiencing humiliation and significant mental shock.

The court also stated that while the victim's side is requesting severe punishment for the action of Jung, he did not show an attitude of reflection. After taking into account that Jung had not distributed the footage to anyone and that he has no similar offense, he was sentenced to a year in jail.

Furthermore, the court stated that Jung is not guilty of assaulting the victim due to there not being sufficient evidence.

Meanwhile, before this Bobby Jung faced accusations of sexual assault and illegal shooting in May 2020.

The case earned substantial coverage from the media after it was revealed that the accusations were brought to the notice by the family members of another victim who had taken their life.

At that point, many fans had reacted strongly to the accusations and also called for a ban on Jung's work. Many people also curated lists of songs, which Jung was associated with, and asked others to boycott them.

The matter also led to the a concert of Autumn Vacation getting cancelled. Later on, Bobby deactivated his Instagram account, after the frenzy caused by the scandal.

However, prosecutors dismissed that case earlier in January.

Back in October this year, the prosecution had proposed three and a half years of jail time. They had said that the second victim had appeared after the first victim's death, but he did not reflect on his wrongdoing at all.

Bobby Jung had pleaded not guilty at that time saying that it was true that he took videos with good feelings when meeting the victim, but had never shot anything without the victim knowing, nor had he filmed anything without them knowing.
