Cho Yi Hyun and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol are the last artists to be added to the cast lineup for the upcoming KBS 2TV drama School 2021. Their addition to the project means that the cast has been completed.

As mentioned on Soompi, the latest installment of the popular School drama series will be about 18-year-old young adults who, instead of taking college entrance exams, chose to take on a different path. The viewers will see youths who tackle issues commonly experienced by people their age.

They will reveal their dreams, friendships and facing hurdles as they face uncertainties of their future. Now, prior to the confirmation of Cho Yi Hyun and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol's addition to the drama, WEi's Kim Yo Han and Kim Young Dae have already been confirmed.

Kim Yo Han is known to be a taekwondo player before becoming an idol, so his role in School 2021 is close to his real self. As Gong Ki Joon, in the drama, he has been a taekwondo athlete for 11 years but had to give up the sport due to an injury. He studies in a vocational high school and is extremely shy around girls.

Kim Young Dae will take on a role as the transfer student Jung Young Joo. He is a mysterious student but will get closer with Gong Ki Joon, with whom he will share his secret.

For Cho Yi Hyun, she will be Jin Ji Won, a highly confident and ambitious high school girl. She is outspoken and clearly states what she thinks. In fact, she often gets into conflict with her mother because every time they talk about going to college, they get into a heated discussion.

It was back in April when it was first mentioned that Choi Yi Hyun received an offer to be in School 2021. At that time, Spot TV reported that the actress' agency, Artist Company, said that she was considering the project, and now it was finally confirmed.

Meanwhile, School 2021 is set to be released in the second half of this year. The viewers are anticipating the lead stars' performance in this drama that has so far launched the careers of several popular actors now including, Jang Hyuk, Gong Yoo, Lee Jong Sook, Jo In Sung, Kim Woo Bin, and more.
