Rosé of BLACKPINK recently teased that there is more to come in her career as a solo artist. Following the massive success of R, it is not surprising that she and YG Entertainment may have another music project in the future.

While there are no confirmations yet, the K-Pop idol dropped hints about it in a recent interview. Koreaboo said that this took place during the singer's interview on the Zach Sang Show.

In the brief engagement, the host asked the "On The Ground" singer whether her first solo album is a "continuing story" and whether there will be additional music release to the project in the future.

Rosé replied that this is something that she and her fans will look after moving forward. Despite the lack of confirmation, the BLACKPINK vocalist noted, though, that she tried to "start it on a note," wherein R is a "representation of the first alphabet in the name" that most people refer to her since then. She added that it is "supposed to be the start of it."

While she already laid out her cards before the public, the "GONE" singer clarified that her future albums will not necessarily follow the succeeding letters of her name. She stated that "it does not represent that."

In the end, it appears that Rosé already has plans for her career as a solo artist. But, as to when the fandom will witness this, it will likely be a different story for the next few months.

Earlier in March, the BLACKPINK member officially dropped her debut solo album, R. It houses two English tracks, "On The Ground" and "GONE," which she first teased during the group's online concert, "The Show" back in January.

She has since broken several records and made history in the industry. Moreover, the tracks, alongside their respective music videos, have maintained impressive courses on various charts and platforms.

While the public may never hear anything new yet from Rosé this year, BLACKPINK fans and supporters are still celebrating and looking forward. This comes after the group's rapper, Lisa, revealed that her first solo album is "coming soon."

BLINKs already know that the two K-Pop idols will release their solo music projects this 2021. YG Entertainment previously confirmed this, noting that Lisa's track collection will arrive after Rosé's.

There is little information, however, as to when the album will drop. Also, no word has been shared yet as to the name, the number of tracks, and even the theme that the said track collection will carry. (Business TImes)
