Megastar V is indeed the most celebrated Kpop idol on Twitter since his debut. The idol's rule over one of the most extensive social networking services, Twitter, has also become a hot topic among the fans.

While tweets of the BTS member "first-ever Korean artist to..." records decorated the trends worldwide, Taehyung's fans welcomed the year by throwing a grand celebratory party titled the "Worldwide Ace BTS V" on Twitter.

Fans Celebrating The Flourishing Career Of V

V surpassed the posts by well-known idols such as G-Dragon and Siwon in 2014 by taking the most-retweeted post crown by a Korean artist as his selfie with Baekhyun from EXO garnered 55,000 retweets.

Furthermore, on Twitter in 2017, V became the first K-pop idol to receive 1 million likes on a tweet and further solidified his unrivaled popularity by crossing the million mark in the shortest period in 2018.

Following that year, Taehyung conquered the "Most Retweeted Tweets of 2019" list in some of the biggest Latin American countries.

V wrote his name in history in 2020 by becoming the first Asian artist achieving 3 million likes on a tweet in record-setting time. The idol also ranked six tweets on the list of "Top 30 Most-Liked Tweets of All-Time" within the same year.

Taehyung's Unrivaled Birthday Bash

Moreover, roughly six months after V's debut, his birthday tag, #HappyBTSVDay placed on the worldwide trends list at #2. V received immense love by revealing his remarkable capabilities as an artist despite being a hidden member and known by the fans significantly less time than his bandmates.

From that moment, Taehyung has recently been named as the Korean celebrity with the most-used birthday hashtag and ranked several birthday tags on the worldwide trend list. #HappyVDay, as per multiple sources, surpassed five million tweets in under 24 hours, crowning V as the first idol to achieve such a feat.
