On January 6, Apink's Bomi opens up how a rigorous diet routine has once ruined a K-pop idol like her with a perfect body and porcelain-like skin.

On January 7, Thursday, APINK's Bomi had appeared on the latest episode of SBS's 'My Fantasy House' and revealed a disturbing fact when she was undergoing a rigorous diet routine. When asked about what her dream house would be like to design, Bomi revealed she wanted her house to be built with clay.

Moreover, APINK's Bomi shared 'clay' is the most natural and useful product she had ever tried, recalling the day when she experienced severe atopic dermatitis or eczema. Bomi narrated that during APINK's 'Only One' promotional activities, she is undergoing a strict diet resulting in losing tremendous weight.

Due to the abrupt diet and weight loss, her immune system weakened, leading her to develop a skin problem.

"It felt like ants were crawling all over my body. I tried to tie my hands so that I wouldn't scratch myself in my sleep, but when I woke up, I had broken free, and my hands were bloody. The most effective treatment I've tried out of many was natural methods. Since then, I've become more interested in natural products, like clothing enriched with clay."

This is why APINK's Bomi wanted her house to be made out of clay. Also, the K-pop idol wanted a clay enriched clothing in each of her OOTD's to keep her skin safe from developing an unwanted skin problem again.

Apink Bomi's co-member, Chorong, also shared how Bomi was extremely affected and stressed when she developed eczema and would always remind her to stop scratching her body's itchy area.

The situation also made APINK's Bomi wear turtlenecks to cover up her rashes and scratches. However, some netizens also commented on her condition in which APINK's Bomi claimed was from a weak immune system.

One netizen commented that it's developed from an overactive immune system and is likely due to an imbalanced diet and (maybe) vitamin deficiency.
