Another K-drama series is due to air on Orion Cinema Network: "Korea number-one channel." The upcoming webtoon-based drama series of the same name, 'Extraordinary Rumor,' has confirmed the leading roles to be played by Gugudan's Kim Sejeong and one of South Korea's most promising actor Jo Byung-Gyu.

Per Soompi, 'Extraordinary Rumor' revolves around evil souls coming back to the mortal world to seek for eternal life. The story starts when the so-called demon hunters (Counters), disguised as noodle restaurant employees, search for the evil souls aiming to capture them.

24-year-old actor Jo Byung-Gyu will be acting as the youngest "Counter," named So Moon. The character is set to die from a mysterious car accident in the early episodes, leading him to become one of the Counters [My Drama List].

On the other hand, the female lead role to be played by Kim Sejeong is Do Ha Na. The character can locate evil souls no matter the distance. Do Ha Na also can get in one's memories through physical touch.

Both characters end up working alongside each other to accomplish the same goal: catching the evil souls [My Drama List].

'Extraordinary Rumor' additional cast includes 'My Husband Got a Family' actor Yoo Jun-sang, theater tycoon Ahn Suk-hwan, and actress Yeom Hye-ran.

Yeom Hye-ran will portray another member of the counters capable of healing—rolled as Chu Mae Ok, a chef at the noodle restaurant.

Yoo Jun-sang is Ga Mo Tak in the series, a Counter that possesses a prodigious strength. Ga Mo Tak is a former police officer who also acts as So Moon's mentor. The said character is set to be involved in an accident causing him to lose his memory.

The eldest Counter named Choi Jang Mool, will be played by Ahn Suk-hwan. He will be the appointed finance director of the group's expenses and is a renowned legend among South Korea's Counters.

The premier date and details of the anticipated 'Extraordinary Rumor' series are set to put on the show in the coming months following the OCN's 'Search' finale.
