SF9's Rowoon, who debuted his first leading role in the MBC drama Extraordinary You, talked about his dreamy character in the upcoming JTBC drama She Would Never Know. There, he also discussed why he chose to play a role!

Rowoon kicked-off his acting career in television series with KBS2's School 2017 with a minor supporting role. He then steadily began receiving more significant roles after his appearance. 

He was confirmed to star in tvN's About Time as the female lead's brother in March 2018. And in July 2018, he was nominated for the New Actor award with an SBS drama titled Where Stars Land.

Rowoon's Thoughts About His Character

Regarding why Rowoon chose to accept his next project's role, he shared that he wanted to play Chae Hyun Seung's character. He further explained that he wanted to worry over how to fill up a character who has no shortcomings.

Moreover, Rowoon described his character Chae Hyun Seung as ready to love and prepared to be loved.

The fondness of the idol-turned-actor for the character was shone to his further statements. He said that Hyun Seung's altruistic behavior is genuinely innately considerate rather than calculating and thinking. He also dares to confidently stick to his beliefs and has a strong sense of responsibility for the work he takes on.

A New Exciting Drama Of 2021

She Would Never Know is an adaptation of a famous web novel that will tell the complicated office love story of two co-workers on a cosmetics brand's marketing team. 

Taking the role of the perfectionist Yoon Song Ah is Won Jin Ah, while Rowoon takes the part of her dashing younger colleague Chae who has been with the company for a year named Hyun Seung. 

Chae Hyun Seung only has eyes for Yoon Song Ah, although the latter is initially unable to see Chae Hyun Seung as anything other than a younger colleague.

Following the conclusion of JTBC's Live On, She Would Never Know will be hitting the small screen on January 18 at 9 p.m. KST.
