DAY6's Young K has been officially announced to be the next DJ of 'Kiss the Radio.' KBS Cool FM has confirmed and announced the news in public.

On November 16, Monday, Soompi reported that KBS Cool FM has confirmed and verified the news that DAY6's Young K will be the new DJ starting November 23, Monday. Fans are getting hyped and are already setting high hopes on KBS Cool FM's 'Kiss the Radio.'

Day6's Young K was not the first to be the radio program's DJ. The first to his position are K-pop idol's Park Won, FTISLAND's Lee Jong Ki, g.o.d's Danny Ahn, and Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, and Sungmin. Young K just had his previous radio hosting project with MBC's 'Idol Radio' in September after its first season came to an end.

Young K is Day6's one of the most engaged members as he mainly devotes himself much to the band's discography as a whole. Aside from his musical career, he also embarked on a Radio hosting program with GOT7's Youngjae.

With such talents and skills as an idol and given his previous experience on MBC's 'Idol Radio,' fans are already setting their hopes up and discussing the outcome of the show through an online forum with KBS Cool FM's 'Kiss the Radio.'

Young K's solo music promotional activities started back in 2015. The young idol rendered full participation on his co-JYP labelmate Baek A Yeon with his song 'Shouldn't Have' where he wrote the rap part of his track.

Young K then appeared on one of the Korean indie artists' songs, Park Sae-Byul and Like Likes in their track 'Sky High.' Young K also worked on the rap part of the song.
