BELIFT LAB released a statement on September 26 about fan etiquette after an incident at the airport involving ENHYPEN.

As per Koreaboo, it’s only a week since the new group ENHYPEN was introduced on the finale of I-LAND, but with just a short time, the group has already drawn in an unprecedented number of fans. Most of the members during the contest received over 1 million votes each, and within eight hours of launching their Twitter account, they already had 500,000 followers.

The boy group members, earlier on the 26th, arrived at Gimpo Airport in Seoul upon their return from a work event on Jeju Island. The members at the airport were swarmed by a crowd of fans, which blocked the members’ movements. The fans took photos of the group members and attempted to get close.

The reports received from the scene paint an even worse picture. According to some fans, several members were violently pushed. Jake was reportedly left crying during the ordeal, and Ni-Ki became separated from the rest of the group.

BELIFT then posted a fan etiquette guidelines on Weverse, pointing out that fans were prohibited from visiting private locations, stalking the artists, and selling or buying the artists’ personal information to avoid bans or legal actions. Also, taking photos or videos without permission, interfering with artists’ schedules, and assuming false identities are prohibited.

Specific examples mentioned by BELIFT regarding the prohibited behavior includes visiting work locations that have not been made public; visiting private spaces like the company office, practice studio, and the artists’ dorms, and acquiring personal information.

Additionally, including flight information, stalking the artists and their family members, recording the artists in the aforementioned private spaces, refusing to comply with agency staff, blocking the artists from engaging in work or entering their vehicles, and following them in cars behaviors could lead to a ban.
