New stills of Kim BUm in the tvN's upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed," now released!

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" is an "urban fantasy drama" that tells the story of a male gumiho (mythical nine-tailed fox) named Yi Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook) who just settled in the city. Together with Jo Bo Ah, who portrays as a fearless and talented producing director (PD) named Nam Ji Ah, who is also determined to hunt him down. Kim Bum plays Yi Rang, Yi Yeon's half-brother, born from a human and a gumiho parent.

Yi Rang is a threatening gumiho with volatile emotions that will bring the conflict to the story. He is a continuously changing figure, skilled in the transformation which sees through human greed.

Kim Bum shared about the script that the content and structure of the refreshing topic were exciting. He also revealed that he chose the drama because he loves the role of Yi Rang. He explained when looking at Yi Rang in one way, he seems to be a bad guy, but in another way around, he has many scars and pitiful. His original perspective is innocent and kind, but he became hurt because of some misunderstanding and unexpected situation. He is abominable but cannot be hated.

However, Kim Bum shared that he studied the origin and legends of gumihos. He even pictured images of abandoned cats and dogs to paint the idea of an "abandoned gumiho." He practiced making the vibe that he is not human while making gestures and expressions.

Concerning action scenes, Kim Bum shared that he suggested using action gestures that appeared scratching than fist fighting. He also studied the movements of the foxes.

In the newly released stills, Yi Rang showed a very extravagant style. Kim Bum revealed that he underwent numerous meetings with stylists and the hair and makeup team for Yi Tang's role since his debut.

Kim Bum and Lee Dong Wook need to portray a tense relationship in the drama even if they are close friends in person.

The production crew shared that Kim Bum is a passionate and sincere actor. They added that his drastic transformation, bold and enthusiastic acting is another point to anticipate.

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" will soon premiere on October 7 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
