Netflix's 'D.P' Reveals Jung Hae In, Son Seok Gu, Kim Sung Kyun, And Kyo Hwan As Main Cast

Netflix's new original series "D.P." finally revealed its lead cast!

"Deserter Pursuit" or "D.P." is based on the hit webtoon by Kim Bo Tong. The story is about Ahn Jun Ho, a soldier who is fulfilling his mandatory military service who suddenly called up into a special squad given the task to catch and chase down deserters. The series adapts the popular webtoon of the same name written originally by Kim Bo Tong.

Jung Ha In will be playing the lead character Ahn Jun Ho. His character is a silent and calm South Korean Army who is not so good at adapting to new situations. He is assigned to a unit responsible for chasing and arresting deserters. After their officer in charge observed his outstanding abilities and skills, he became part of the D.P. squad.

Moreover, casting as Han Ho Yeol is Goo Kyo Hwan, who recently appeared in the popular film, "Peninsula." In the "Deserter Pursuit," he is the team leader of the D.P. squad. He is a dependable soldier who helped Ahn Jun Ho adjust to the team's life, although he quickly gets irritated with the new soldiers. He seems to be a soldier who has no ambition or goals in life and looks like a playboy, but he can be trusted and is willing to help, especially Ahn Jun Ho.

Another star, Kim Sung Kyun, plays a Sergeant Park Bum Goo, the officer in charge of the D.p. squad. He still shows concern and takes good care of the team through his veteran insights, although he suffers high stress and fatigue and frequently scolding Ahn Jun Ho and Han Ho Yeol.

Also, actor Son Suk Gu will be starring as Im Ji Seob, an executive in the military police who graduated from the Korea Military Academy. He considered the D.P. squad to be a nuisance, and he only cared about those with good results.

"Deserter Pursuit" or "D.P." will be written and directed by Han Jun Hee. His debut feature-length film, "Coin Locker Girl" (also known as "Chinatown") was chosen to be screened in the International Critics' Week section of the 68th Cannes Film Fest. Meanwhile, The original webtoon writer of "D.P." is Kim Bo Tong.
