Since their chart-topping debut in 2017, the 4-membered South Korean band, KARD, has shown competence in showcasing their craft to the world. In their career span, the quartet consistently proves to be one of the most exceptional groups in the K-pop music scene.

The co-ed group, formed of members Somin, Jiwoo, J.Seph, and BM, is the only active co-ed band in South Korea. The group has currently established their place as artists that use their peculiar signature sound, captivating the attention and hearts of many, either locally or internationally.

Despite being in the industry full of achievers, and being one it, KARD remained fully-dedicated to their passion and humble. The open-mindedness and down-to-earth honesty of the band made them who they are right now, earning their coveted spot in K-pop.

Three years have passed since they started their career, the band dropped a song that sings a worthy message. The confident release of ‘Way With Words’ has struck their fans with its “thought-provoking” message.

‘WAY WITH WORDS,’ first single album

The band’s first-ever single album bottles up three song collections that showcase their immense versatility. Even with their differences in taste and likes, each member showed off their skills in each track.

Moreover, member BM participated in the writing, composing, and arranging all of the records, while member J.Seph contributed to the words-writing.

The song titled ‘AH EE YAH’ lights up its listeners with its charming and welcoming intro. ‘GUNSHOT’ is a powerful song as it is dedicated to every victim of love. The record best resembles the band’s former song called ‘Dumb Litty.’ The piece demonstrates a verbal abuse message, and that also tackles about physical pain.

Lastly, the sincerely penned track titled ‘HOLD ON’ is a melancholy ballad that ends the album with a friendship-inspired ending. BM purposely wrote the song for fellow band member J.Seph, who will soon temporarily bid his goodbye to the band to enlist in the mandatory military service.
