Singer-songwriter Esna updated her fans a surprising YouTube content revealing something from her past collaborative work with MAMAMOO and her managing label.

She started opening on the traumatic encounters she endured due to her agency's unfair treatment while promoting her 2015 MAMAMOO joint venture, "AHH! OOP! OoP! ESNa speaks first of how she came to compose the song's melody and lyrics, and how she wanted it to be her professional TV debut.

Afterward, the topic was moved to rendering the track into collaborative work with MAMAMOO. She went on to discuss the planning for music event visits, getting instructed she would have to achieve a certain weight and discover out on the day of release of the album that her name was taken off the single credits.

Esna talks about her company's lack of cooperation throughout the planning phase, getting pulled from TV news promotional activities, and continuously not being recognized for all the work she has placed into what her song had been.

She also discusses her "AHH! OOP! OoP! "Sorts of replicate and diss track titled "AHH! SHIT!" She asserts, "I believe this was the first time a musician had placed the netizens in their place in Korea." (via Koreaboo)

ESNA'S CAREER

Her debut as a musician was the track "Some," composed for Soyou and Junggigo (who features Lil Boi of Geeks), launched in February 2014. Esna wrote the song with CEO Kim Do-hoon of her company and Min Yeon-Jae, Xepy, Lil Boi, and Junggigo.

She lasted six weeks at the peak of Korea's Billboard K-Pop Hot 100, breaking the all-time rating history. She has said that the track was "unknowingly convenient to compose" in an interview, and was mainly based on her own experiences.

Many of Esna's works are influenced by R&B, jazz, and swing, which include "Special Love" by Wheesung and Gummy, and tracks penned for RBW's MAMAMOO.
