MOMOLAND releases surprise promotion schedule for their upcoming special album, 'Starry Night'!

According to the schedule promotion, photo teasers will be released on June 5, June 8, and June 9, followed by a Highlight Medley on June 10.

The official track ‘Starry Night’ will be released on June 11 at 6pm KST.

Ahead of the scheduled promotions, MOMOLAND released a special single 'Tiki Taka' in collaboration with Pororo, an animated penguin, on May 28, 2020.

The special single will be set as another theme song for Pororo, the Little Penguin animated series. MOMOLAND also sang the main theme song of Pororo ‘Banana Chacha’, which was released in 2019.

MOMOLAND debuted as a 9-member girl group back in 2016 after joining Mnet's survival program Finding Momoland. Their hit songs 'Bboom Bboom', 'BAAM' and 'I’m So Hot' have received a lot of love and praise from in and out of Korea.

However, on November 30, 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that Taeha and Yeonwoo are leaving the girl group, and MOMOLAND will continue on as 6 members.

Member Daisy has also been confirmed to be out of the group. Her profile picture and introduction page on MOMOLAND’s artist page via MLD Entertainment website have been deleted.

Daisy is currently on hot waters with the agency due to her claim that Mnet’s 'Finding Momoland' was rigged.

It was revealed last year that the rankings on Mnet’s 'Produce' series had been manipulated, and according to Daisy, the final lineup of the 2016 survival show 'Finding Momoland' was manipulated as well.

In response, MLD Entertainment released a statement denying all the claims, and stated they would be taking legal action against Daisy and her mother.

Daisy has not been participating in MOMOLAND’s activities since February 2019, and she is taking steps to cancel her contract with the agency.

For now, the only artists on the web page are the current six MOMOLAND girls and ex-member Yeonwoo’s actress profile.
