Kim Soo-hyun is set to break his silence following the growing controversy surrounding his alleged relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron.

According to multiple industry insiders confirmed by Sports Seoul on March 13, Kim Soo-hyun is preparing to release an official statement regarding the accusations surrounding his connection to Kim Sae-ron. However, the exact content and format of his statement are still under discussion.

Initially, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, had taken a strong stance against the claims made by the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (GaSeYeon), which alleged that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a romantic relationship with Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor.

Gold Medalist firmly denied all allegations, stating, "The claims that Kim Soo-hyun was in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron from the age of 15, that our agency mishandled her DUI incident, and that one of our managers has ties to YouTuber A are all completely false. These are malicious fabrications that we cannot overlook."

However, the situation quickly escalated as GaSeYeon released multiple pieces of evidence, including personal letters and photos, which they claimed supported the dating allegations. As a result, public sentiment turned sharply against Kim Soo-hyun.

The controversy has now snowballed, with many questioning whether Kim Soo-hyun had a personal relationship with Kim Sae-ron while she was still underage. Amid mounting scrutiny, Kim Soo-hyun has decided to respond directly to the allegations.

Due to the growing backlash, Kim Soo-hyun has also pulled out of the scheduled recording for MBC's Good Day on March 13.
