Singer Wheesung has passed away.

His agency, Tajo Entertainment, announced on the 10th, stating, "Our artist, Wheesung, has left us today, March 10. He was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced deceased."

The agency continued, "Following this sudden and tragic news, his family, fellow artists at Taejo Entertainment, and all employees are deeply heartbroken and mourning his passing."

They added, "It pains us greatly to share this devastating news with fans who have always shown Wheesung unwavering support and love. We kindly ask that you pray for him so that he may rest in peace."

Born in 1982, Wheesung was 43 years old at the time of his passing. He debuted in 2002 with his first full-length album, Like A Movie, and gained popularity with hit songs such as Can't We, A Story That Can't Be Told, With Me, Incurable Disease, If It's a Year, Love is Delicious, Insomnia, I Thought of Marriage, A Painful Story, and Special Love.
