BTS member Jungkook is maintaining his popularity in the UK, the home of pop music.

According to the UK Official Chart released on January 6, Jungkook's solo album "GOLDEN" title track "Standing Next to You" re-entered the latest Official Singles Chart at No. 56. "GOLDEN" also ranked No. 91 on the Official Albums Chart, breaking its own record for the longest-running K-pop solo album on the chart (8 weeks).

Jungkook achieved significant results on the UK Official Chart last year. His first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" debuted at No. 3 on the Official Singles Chart and remained on the chart for 14 weeks. Since then, Jungkook has had four consecutive songs enter the chart in 2023: "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)," "TOO MUCH" with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee, and "Standing Next to You."

"Seven" was also the only K-pop song to be named among the "Best Songs and Albums of 2023: Official Charts staff picks" by the UK Official Chart staff. The staff said, "'Seven' is the pop moment of the year. It's no surprise that Jungkook's "Seven," which has established himself as a star-studded solo artist, made history on the UK charts immediately after its release."

Meanwhile, Jungkook is still making a name for himself on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify. On January 5, Spotify released its latest "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart (for the period December 29-January 4), with "Seven" at No. 7 and "Standing Next to You" at No. 16, both up from the previous week, showing his strength by placing two songs in the top 20.

These achievements are all the more impressive considering that Jungkook is currently serving in the South Korean military. His continued success in the UK and other countries around the world is a testament to his global popularity and star power.
