The solo careers of BLACKPINK members are gaining momentum. Following the renewal of their group activity contract with YG Entertainment, Jennie and now Jisoo are preparing to embark on their solo journeys with the support of their families, adopting a 'Together Yet Apart' strategy for their vigorous future activities.

Last month, BLACKPINK renewed their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment, agreeing to continue their musical partnership. YG announced, "After careful discussions with BLACKPINK, we have based our group activity contract on mutual trust. BLACKPINK plans to reciprocate the love of fans worldwide with activities befitting their global stature, including releasing new albums and embarking on massive world tours, all with YG's full support."

However, the members' individual activities will proceed separately from YG. Last month, YG stated, "We recently renewed the contract for BLACKPINK's group activities but have agreed not to pursue additional individual contracts. We will fully support BLACKPINK's activities and warmly cheer on the members' solo endeavors."

As BLACKPINK members begin their solo careers, Jennie was the first to officially announce her new start. Last month, she revealed on her social media the establishment of her own label, ODD ATELIER. This label, co-founded with her mother, will be the home for her solo activities, separate from BLACKPINK. Jennie, who has always expressed a special bond with her mother, has chosen her family as her companions in her solo journey.

Jisoo has also announced a fresh start with her family. Amid various speculations about her future, including transferring to another company and investment rumors, it has been reported that she will start her individual activities with her elder brother. Both Jennie and Jisoo are adopting a strategy to receive support from their families in personal agencies rather than large corporations.

Recently, the recruitment announcement from a health functional food brand for infants and young children, run by Jisoo's elder brother, revealed this information. Last month, the brand posted a hiring notice for 'Artist Growth Career Recruitment,' which mentioned, "A startup set to grow globally in the K-pop industry faster than anyone. An encounter between an artist and a startup that is hard to experience in any other company. We are rapidly expanding our entertainment business both domestically and internationally to receive more love from K-pop fans along with the artist's growth." The notice also included Jisoo's photo.

The company is hiring video editing PDs, designers, account managers, and bodyguards for its entertainment business. Particularly, the company name 'Blissoo' was specified, suggesting it's an entertainment company for Jisoo. Like Jennie, Jisoo has announced a new beginning with her family. However, the brand stated, "We are unaware of the director's business."

As Jennie and Jisoo announce their new beginnings with their families, there's growing interest in how they will create a new synergy with BLACKPINK's 'Together Yet Apart' strategy.
