The group NewJeans (Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) is continuing its record-breaking streak on the U.S. Billboard main charts.

As of the 27th (Korean time), according to the latest U.S. Billboard chart (dated December 30th), NewJeans' second EP 'Get Up' climbed 32 spots from the previous week to rank 106th on the main album chart 'Billboard 200.' Following an 18-spot rebound last week, the album has continued to significantly climb in rankings for two consecutive weeks, drawing attention. 'Get Up' has stayed on this chart for 22 consecutive weeks since its entry at 1st place (dated August 5th), continually breaking the record for the longest-charting album by a 4th generation K-pop group.

The international spotlight on 'Get Up' continues as well. The EP has been ranked 1st in both the 'The 20 Best K-pop Albums of 2023' recently announced by the American media PASTE and the 'The 25 best Asian albums of 2023' selected by the UK's NME. Both media praised 'Get Up,' calling it "flawless music" (PASTE) and "an EP that cements NewJeans as trendsetters of an era" (NME).

The title track of 'Get Up,' 'Super Shy,' is also enjoying popularity on the Billboard charts. This week, 'Super Shy' maintained its position for 24 consecutive weeks, ranking 106th on 'Global (excl. US)' and 164th on 'Global 200.'

Additionally, songs from their single album 'OMG' released in January this year, 'Ditto' and the title track 'OMG,' showed enduring popularity, rising 43 spots to 90th and 26 spots to 133rd, respectively, on the 'Global (excl. US).'

NewJeans appeared on Nihon TV's representative year-end music program 'Announcement! This Year's Most Played Songs (Annual Music Awards 2023)' on the 27th. Invited for the second consecutive year, NewJeans caught attention with their sophisticated performances of 'OMG' and 'Super Shy.'
