'Global pop star' Jungkook of BTS has raced up the popularity charts in the United States on Billboard following his success on the UK Official Charts.

On the 27th (Korean time), according to the latest chart (dated December 30th) announced by the American music specialty media Billboard, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' rebounded two spots from the previous week to rank 39th on the 'Billboard 200'. Consequently, 'GOLDEN' has been on the 'Billboard 200' for seven consecutive weeks since its first entry at 2nd place (dated November 18th).

Additionally, the title track of this album, 'Standing Next to You,' ranked 79th on this week's 'Hot 100'. This is a significant jump of 20 spots from the previous week. The highest 'Hot 100' debut ranking for 'Standing Next to You' was 5th place in its first week of release.

Moreover, 'Standing Next to You' regained the 1st place on the 'Digital Song Sales' chart, and ranked 11th on the 'Global (excl. US)' and 17th on the 'Global 200'.

Amid a worldwide onslaught of Carol genre during the season, the popularity of 'Standing Next to You' is particularly notable. This song also climbed 9 places from the previous week to 88th on the latest UK Official Singles Chart released on the 23rd.

Meanwhile, BTS's existing songs are also receiving renewed love. BTS's debut song from ten years ago, 'No More Dream,' reached 9th place on the US Billboard 'Digital Song Sales' chart, and on the 'World Digital Song Sales,' 'No More Dream' (1st place), 'Attack on Bangtan' (4th place), 'Outro: Tear' (7th place), and 'Spring Day' (8th place) all secured high rankings.
