BLACKPINK's Jennie has established her independent label ODD ATELIER, signaling a strategic move that operates alongside but distinctly from YG Entertainment.

Jennie has initiated operations for her one-person agency-like label, ODD ATELIER.

Her team described ODD ATELIER as "a space created to forge eye-catching novelties, established in November." As of the 23rd, the official website has been inaccessible due to an influx of visitors.

This move signifies Jennie's strategy to operate both independently and in conjunction with her agency, YG Entertainment. Previously, on December 6, YG Entertainment officially announced, "After careful discussions with BLACKPINK, we have concluded an exclusive contract for group activities based on deep mutual trust."

Under the robust support of YG, BLACKPINK plans to reciprocate the love of their global fans with activities befitting their international stature, including releasing new albums and embarking on large-scale world tours.

In other news, Jennie celebrated Christmas by releasing a cover video of 'Snow' on her official YouTube channel (Jennierubyjane) at midnight on the 24th. Within just 8 hours of being uploaded, the video on her channel, which boasts 10.10 million subscribers, recorded 1,452,483 views and surged in popularity.

Looking ahead, Jennie is set to appear in the first half of next year on tvN's new variety show 'Apartment 404' (directed by Jung Cheol-min and Shin So-young), alongside comedian Yoo Jae-suk, actor Cha Tae-hyun, actor Oh Na-ra, comedian Yang Se-chan, and actor Lee Jung-ha.
