BTS member Jungkook has marked his stature as a 'Global Pop Star' by securing the 4th spot in the 2023 Spotify 'Most Streamed' category.

According to Spotify's '2023 Wrapped' end-of-year campaign announced on November 30th, Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' achieved the 4th place in 'Top 10 Songs Globally.'

Spotify annually compiles listening data to reveal global music trends and streaming records. This year, the top 10 most-played songs worldwide were selected, with Jungkook ranking 4th, following global artists like Miley Cyrus, SZA, and Harry Styles, thus proving his worldwide influence as a male solo artist. 'Seven' also clinched the 1st spot in the 'Global Top K-Pop Songs of the Year.' In this chart, BTS Jimin's solo album 'FACE' title track 'Like Crazy' ranked 3rd.

BTS also shined in the artist-based charts. Both BTS and Jungkook ranked 1st and 3rd, respectively, in the 'Global Top K-Pop Artists of the Year,' which ranks the most-streamed K-pop artists globally.

Jungkook's foray into solo artistry with 'Seven' resonated globally upon its release in July. The song debuted at No.1 on the Billboard main singles chart, 'Hot 100' (dated July 29), and also secured the 3rd spot in Spotify's 'Most Streamed Songs Globally of Summer 2023.'

Jungkook has made significant impacts in the heartland of pop with 'Seven.' In September, he was uniquely listed as a K-pop artist in 'The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Platinum Players in Music,' which selects the top 25 artists who defined a year in the music industry.

Following 'Seven,' his solo singles '3D (feat. Jack Harlow),' collaborations with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee on 'TOO MUCH,' and his first solo album 'GOLDEN' have continued to sweep major music charts globally, solidifying Jungkook's position as a leading male solo artist of the 2020s.
