BTS member Jin shone brightly as he clinched the title of Best Male Artist at the jointly held Korean and Japanese 'K-STAR MVA', taking home the coveted trophy.

From 5 PM on September 26 to 11:59 PM on October 11, during a voting event held by IDOLCHAMP common to both Korea and Japan, Jin soared to the first place with a high voting rate of 42.54% in the 'K-STAR MOST VALUABLE ARTIST-BEST ARTIST(men)' poll. IDOLCHAMP announced through their official Twitter account that they will reveal the special trophy and present it to the winning artist.

With this victory, Jin has now garnered a total of eight physical trophies for his individual solo work and popularity awards. Jin's first solo OST track, 'Yours', is the main theme song of the tvN drama 'Jirisan', which has captured the ears of listeners worldwide with its deeply lyrical melody, beautifully showcasing Jin's ethereal falsetto and silvery voice.

'Yours' by Jin has been recognized in the Best Artist of K-Drama OST category at TTA, winning awards in both the Mexico and World divisions.

His recent solo track 'The Astronaut', which just celebrated its first anniversary, climbed to 4th place in the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart for the week of November 7, marking 17 weeks on the chart.

'The Astronaut' has not only taken the first place as a solo song by a BTS member on M Countdown but has also consecutively won the Melon Weekly Popularity Award for the second and third weeks of November. Furthermore, at the 30th Hanteo Music Awards, the song ranked first in the Africa region, earning Jin the Global Artist Award (in Africa).

At the '2022 The Fact Music Awards (TMA)', Jin set a new record as a septuple crown winner, taking home six trophies including the Grand Prize, Global Fan N Star Award, Fan N Star Choice Award for individual artists, the Most Votes Award for artists, Artist of the Year, and the Idol Plus Popularity Award.

Jin, who is currently serving as an assistant instructor in the Korean army, continues to demonstrate his undiminished popularity with a variety of records and awards, making his military hiatus seem inconsequential. He is scheduled to be discharged in June of the following year, coinciding with BTS's anniversary.
