Amidst allegations surrounding actor Lee Sun-kyun and Big Bang's G-Dragon for drug use, baseless fake news is rapidly spreading online.

On October 26, rumors surfaced online claiming that members of BTS frequently visited a high-end entertainment bar, known to be frequented by Lee Sun-kyun. The rumors specifically pointed to members who haven't yet enlisted in the military, namely V, Jungkook, RM, and Jimin.

In addition to BTS, LE SSERAFIM's Kim Chaewon, singer Park Sun-joo, and (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, among other celebrities, have been ensnared in the 'fake news'. However, these are indeed baseless rumors with unclear origins. The agencies of these artists have firmly stated that the rumors are "groundless," and they will take strong action against the unwarranted spread of such rumors.

On the same day, Park Sun-joo shared a photo with her daughter on her social media, writing, "Many are curious about my recent status. I dressed up for a rare dinner outing today. My child has grown so tall. Time flies so fast."

On the other hand, on the 23rd, Lee Sun-kyun was booked without detention on charges of violating the narcotics control law. He is suspected of using marijuana and other drugs at a young woman's residence who worked at an entertainment establishment earlier this year. After the incident came to light, he withdrew from Studio X+U's drama 'No Way Out'. His agency commented, "We are in the process of verifying the exact facts and will cooperate sincerely with any future investigations by the authorities."

Separately, G-Dragon was also criminally charged on October 25 with violating the narcotics control law, but he has yet to make a statement on the matter.
