BTS's Jungkook and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) have each secured three nominations at Europe's premier music awards ceremony, the '2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA).'

According to the list of nominees released on the 4th (local time), Jungkook has been nominated in the 'Best Song,' 'Best K-Pop,' and 'Biggest Fans' categories.

He enjoyed global popularity with his solo debut single 'Seven' released last July, which topped the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart and reached third place on the UK's Official Singles 'Top 100' chart. Riding on this success, Jungkook has been nominated for 'Best Song,' standing shoulder to shoulder with renowned pop stars like Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.

Furthermore, the 'Biggest Fans' category is of particular interest as BTS, the group to which Jungkook belongs, has won this category consecutively from 2018 to last year. Thus, all eyes are on whether he will clinch the award this year.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has been nominated in the 'Best K-Pop,' 'Best Push,' and 'Best Group' categories.

SEVENTEEN and NU'JIN each secured nominations in the 'Best K-Pop' and 'Best Group' categories, while FIFTY FIFTY and Stray Kids have been nominated in the 'Best K-Pop' category.

BLACKPINK has been nominated for 'Biggest Fans,' and aespa has been included in the 'Best Group' category. Globally active Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou has also been nominated in the 'Best Electronic' category.

The 2023 MTV EMA will take place next month on the 5th (local time) in Paris, France.
