SBS' upcoming drama 'Alice' releases its main poster showing Joo Won and Kim Hee Sun in a shining sky backdrop.

'Alice,' per Soompi, is an emotional sci-fi drama starring the detective Joo Won discovering the existence of time travel and winded up crossing paths with a scientist who resembles his dead mother (played by Kim Hee Sun).

Joo Won plays the character of a charismatic detective who was born apathetic named Park Jin Gyeom. His only goal is to catch the culprit of his mother's death when he was in high school.

Then he unexpectedly meets Yoon Ta Yi one day who bores an uncanny resemblance to his late mother. Joo Won, knowing that Yoon Ta Yi is not his mother, still vows to keep her safe.

Yoon Ta Yi, played by Kim Hee Sun, is a physics professor at Hankook University who finished calculus at the age of six. At age 15, she already entered the department of physics at the university.

Yoon Ta Yi embodies a bold scientist with an overflowing passion, outspoken personality, great pride, and confident charm. She becomes strangely drawn with Park Ji Gyeom, who mysteriously appears in her life, and even sharpens her curiosity when she's told that she looks like his late mother. Park Jin Gyeom and Yoon Ta Yi will be working together to solve a special secret involving time travel and fate.

Earlier on August 10, the exciting sci-fi drama revealed a main poster starring the two lead actors. In the magical and spellbinding sign, Joo won, and Kim Hee Sun looks at each other longingly as they are divided between night and day. The fact that both are living in different generations, they still are living in the same world.

The pair is bound to go through many trials and tribulations before discovering the truth and achieve peace. The poster reads, "No matter what world you are in, I'll protect you," which hints that the two are in great determination to stay together until the end.

The premiere of 'Alice' will be on August 28 at 10 PM, KST.
