NewJeans' hit track 'Super Shy' continues its impressive run on the U.S. Billboard charts.

According to the latest Billboard chart released on the 6th (local time) for the week of September 9th, NewJeans (comprising members Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein) from their second mini-album 'Get Up' saw their triple title track 'Super Shy' rank at 95 on the main song chart, 'Hot 100'. With this, NewJeans surpassed their own record from the previous week, marking a new milestone.

'Get Up' secured the 24th spot on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200', and after making a direct entry to the top spot (dated August 5th), it has successfully remained on the chart for six consecutive weeks. Additionally, 'Get Up' climbed to the top of the 'World Albums' chart and secured the 3rd and 4th positions on the 'Top Current Album Sales' and 'Top Album Sales' charts respectively.

NewJeans also maintained a strong presence on global charts spanning over 200 countries/regions. 'Super Shy' held its position in the upper ranks for eight weeks, ranking 7th on 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' and 16th on 'Global 200'. Another title track from 'Get Up', 'ETA', ranked 19th on 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' and 40th on 'Global 200'.

Riding on this wave of immense popularity, NewJeans has achieved the remarkable feat of being nominated for the 'Group of the Year' category at the upcoming '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' scheduled for the 12th. This marks the first time NewJeans has been nominated for a prestigious award ceremony in the U.S.
