The group SEVENTEEN (consisting of members S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) is maintaining their top position on Japan's Oricon charts.

SEVENTEEN's first Japanese best album, 'ALWAYS YOURS', secured the top spot on the latest Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking (dated September 4th, covering the period from August 21st to 27th, 2023) with 518,000 points. With this achievement, SEVENTEEN has clinched their 10th number one spot on this chart, setting a new record for the most number one positions in the history of the combined album chart.

The 518,000 points garnered by 'ALWAYS YOURS' is the second-highest weekly score for an international artist in 2023, following their 10th mini-album 'FML', which accumulated 562,000 points. Moreover, 'ALWAYS YOURS' surpassed 500,000 sales in its first week. Following 'FML', SEVENTEEN has now achieved consecutive first-week sales of over 500,000 units for two albums, dominating the 2023 rankings for initial sales by foreign artists with 'FML' (552,000 units) and 'ALWAYS YOURS' (512,000 units) securing the top two positions.

In addition, SEVENTEEN also topped the Billboard Japan 'Artist 100' chart released on August 30th. With 'ALWAYS YOURS' reigning supreme on the 'Hot Albums' and 'Top Albums Sales' charts, SEVENTEEN continues to solidify their reputation as the premier K-pop group.

On another note, SEVENTEEN is set to embark on their largest Japanese dome tour since their debut, titled 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO JAPAN'. The tour will span five cities in Japan, starting with Tokyo Dome on September 6-7, followed by MetLife Dome in Saitama on November 23-24, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 30, December 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7, 9-10, and finally Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 16-17.
