BTS's Jimin continues to carve out a historic path on the U.S. Billboard charts, further establishing himself as a 'Pop Icon'.

Jimin's debut solo album, 'FACE', has achieved a record-breaking 19 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 'World Albums' chart, marking the longest duration ever for a Korean solo artist's album.

Released on March 24th, 'FACE' made history by becoming the first-ever Korean solo album to top the chart for four consecutive weeks. As of August 12th, according to the latest Billboard chart, 'FACE' climbed three spots from the previous week, securing the 9th position, a unique feat for a Korean solo album.

With this, 'FACE' has not only achieved the longest 17-week presence in the 'Top 10' for a Korean solo album but has also set a record in 2023 for the longest-charting Asian solo album. Moreover, it boasted its robust solo power by ranking 64th on the 'Top Current Album Sales' for 19 straight weeks. The title track, 'Like Crazy', stood out by being the only Korean solo song to be listed and secured the 4th spot on the 'World Digital Song Sales', marking its 15th week and becoming the longest-charting Korean solo song this year.

Furthermore, with record-breaking sales for a Korean solo artist, 'FACE' ranked 70th on 'Global 200' and 47th on 'Global Excl. U.S.', entering both charts for 19 consecutive weeks. Since its release over four months ago, the album has garnered sales surpassing 920,000 in the U.S. alone, further solidifying its position as this year's most successful K-pop solo song.

Jimin's deep involvement in the album, from writing and composing to performing, has allowed him to genuinely express his artistic essence. With the unwavering support from fans worldwide, he has not only become the first Korean solo artist but remains the only Korean solo song to achieve the coveted No. 1 spot on Billboard's 'Hot 100'.
