NewJeans has proven their significant influence in the two major pop markets of the United States and the United Kingdom. Following their top spot on the U.S. 'Billboard 200', the K-pop sensation now shines in the UK Official Chart.

According to the most recent UK Official Chart announced on August 4th, one of the triple title tracks of NewJeans' second mini-album 'Get Up', 'Super Shy', climbed to the 61st position in the 'Top 100' singles chart, marking its fourth consecutive week on the chart. The song had previously achieved a personal best on this chart, reaching the 52nd spot last week.

In the album chart, 'Get Up' is positioned at 38. 'Get Up' debuted at the 15th place on the chart last week, marking the first entry for NewJeans and the second ever for a K-pop girl group on the UK Official Album Chart.

NewJeans' popularity is also steady on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Super Shy' ranked 17th on Spotify's Global 'Weekly Top Songs' (as of August 3) and 34th on Spotify's US 'Weekly Top Songs', securing a spot on both charts for four consecutive weeks. The pre-released 'New Jeans', and the other title tracks 'ETA' and 'Cool With You', have also entered the two charts.

Last week, NewJeans validated their impressive presence by placing all six tracks from their second mini-album on Spotify's Global and US 'Weekly Top Songs' (as of July 27th). The success of not only the title tracks but also all album tracks reflects that they have solidified their standing in the mainstream pop market.

Based on such 'grassroots popularity', NewJeans managed to get their second mini-album 'Get Up' to the top of the U.S. 'Billboard 200', and placed the three title tracks on the 'Hot 100'. The achievement is particularly meaningful as it was realized within just one year of their debut, without any local activities.

NewJeans' explosive popularity was also evident at the major US music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago'. NewJeans, who became the first K-pop girl group to perform at the festival on August 3rd, performed a total of 12 songs ranging from their debut track to their recently released second mini-album. Approximately 70,000 spectators responded with a 'sing-along' to every song, creating a spectacular scene.
