NewJeans' 'Super Shy' has maintained the top of the major U.S. Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks. Another title track 'ETA', released with the album on July 21, ranked 4th on the Billboard 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' chart.

On the 31st of last month (local time), Billboard U.S. first announced the major chart rankings aggregated from July 21st to 27th on their website and SNS. Accordingly, 'Super Shy', the triple title song and pre-released single of NewJeans (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) mini 2nd album 'Get Up', ranked 2nd and 3rd on the 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 'Global 200' respectively.

This song, which was pre-released on the 7th, entered the two charts at 2nd place in its first week of release, instantly breaking NewJeans' own highest ranking record. Since then, it has succeeded in raising the rankings again this week after ranking 3rd in 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 5th in 'Global 200'.

'ETA' ranked 4th on 'Global (Excluding U.S.)', predicting a twin popularity with 'Super Shy'. Billboard announced that 'ETA' recorded over 38.6 million streams and more than 3,000 digital sales (downloads) in a week.

Both the rise in 'Super Shy's ranking on the Billboard 'Hot 100' and the new entry of 'ETA' are gathering expectations. The first 'Billboard 200' performance of NewJeans is also a major interest. Their second mini-album surpassed 1.65 million sales in the first week (sales for one week after the album release), and considering the rising popularity of NewJeans in the mainstream pop market, this is a goal worth targeting.

Meanwhile, NewJeans is set to perform at the large U.S. music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' at 5 pm on August 3 (7 am Korean time on August 4). They are the first K-pop girl group to take the stage at this event.
