BLACKPINK's Jennie, now a successful actress, has released behind-the-scenes footage from the Cannes Film Festival.

On July 29, Jennie uploaded a video titled "Cannes vlog" on her YouTube channel "Jennierubyjane Official."

The footage shows Jennie filled with excitement before attending the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Shyly smiling, Jennie says, "I'm so, so nervous," and added, "Today's concept is Snow White. I'll return well," before heading to the red carpet event.

Having completed the event successfully, Jennie plunged into preparations for the 'The Idol' interview on the next day. Holding a cup of ramen in one hand, Jennie was cautious as she said, "I'm currently doing my makeup, so I can't slurp the noodles. I have to break them up to eat." She cheekily revealed that she's using a straw instead of chopsticks, explaining, "I couldn't find any chopsticks in Cannes, so I'm eating with a straw," immersing herself in her meal. She even applauded after finishing the cup ramen.

After the interview, Jennie cheered joyfully, "It's over!" Looking out the window, she admired, "It's so beautiful. Suddenly the world seems so pretty. The air seems clear too," and continued, "I don't know how I'm alive after doing two concerts in four days, then coming over to France." She also discussed her hectic schedule.

"Since it's over now, look forward to 'Jennie Ruby Jane'. This was the debut of actress Jennie Ruby Jane," she joked towards the end.

Meanwhile, Jennie made her acting debut by attending the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 22nd, as part of HBO's 'The Idol.' 'The Idol,' based in Los Angeles, US, depicts the story of a popular idol star's experiences in the entertainment industry. Singer The Weeknd served as the writer and producer, and it drew attention for featuring Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of actor Johnny Depp, in the lead role. However, after its release, it faced severe criticism from critics and viewers alike for its explicit and misogynistic portrayals.
