LE SSERAFIM on Performing with Legends on 'Dancing Singer Band': 'We Aspire to be like our Seniors'

Considered the 'ultimate girl group performers', LE SSERAFIM, and 'the diva of divas' Uhm Jung Hwa, collaborated to craft a performance that transcends generations.

LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae) appeared on tvN's variety show 'Dancing Singer Band' that aired on the 27th. The members took part in the Pyeongchang concert of 'Dancing Singer Band', following their connection with Uhm Jung Hwa from last month's 2023 'Weverse Con Festival'.

On the broadcast, Uhm Jung Hwa proposed performing 'Ending Credit' for people considering giving up due to difficult situations. In response, LE SSERAFIM said, "When we first heard this song, we felt the sensation of a fresh start. The lyrics in the final chorus, indicating that a new audience is entering, provided a comforting feeling. The song is moving."

As the prelude to 'Ending Credit' flowed with the start of the performance, the team showcased perfect harmony, and the meeting of the two artists, transcending generations, moved and thrilled the audience. Uhm Jung Hwa, after the performance, expressed her affectionate praise saying, "Watching LE SSERAFIM alone makes me happy. I learned a lot while observing them during the practice period."

After the broadcast, LE SSERAFIM conveyed through their agency Source Music, "It was an honor and a joy to be with such incredible seniors. This was an opportunity to remind ourselves that we want to grow into wonderful artists like the 'Dancing Singer Band' and to be a team that loves the stage for a long time. We are sincerely grateful to our seniors who took care of us, and we hope for another opportunity to share the stage with Uhm Jung Hwa."

In other news, LE SSERAFIM will kick off their first solo tour, the 2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'FLAME RISES', at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, from August 12th to 13th. The official fan club pre-sale begins today (28th) at 8 PM, with general sales starting at 8 PM on the 3rd of next month.
