The trending K-pop group Stray Kids are expanding their global influence with the release of their first EP album in Japan, set to drop on September 6.

Their agency, JYP Entertainment, announced on July 27 through Stray Kids' official Japanese social media channels, the upcoming release of their first Japanese EP "Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-" alongside news of local artist collaboration, tracklist, and group image of the new album.

The first Japanese EP will feature "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" and "Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-" as double title tracks. The Japanese original song "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" with its rock sound and powerful vocals symbolizes the act of "pioneering a path," reflecting the group's earnest narrative as they continuously set new records.

The other title track, "Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-" is a Japanese version of "Super Bowl," a track from their third album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" released in June, boasting passionate lyrics and a vibrant chorus. Both title tracks were penned and composed by the in-house producing team, 3RACHA, consisting of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han.

The new album includes a total of 5 tracks, including the double title tracks, the new song "Butterflies", and instrumental versions of "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" and "Butterflies". Of particular interest is "Social Path (feat. LiSA)", a collaboration with LiSA, a renowned Japanese artist known for multiple hit songs, including themes for popular TV animations like "Demon Slayer". Stray Kids' leader Bang Chan expressed, "The collaboration with senior LiSA has made this special song even more special for me. The lyrics are based on my personal experiences, but I believe many others may have shared similar experiences. I aimed to empathize and comfort those who are enduring in their respective places. I sincerely hope this song brings you a lot of strength."

In the newly released photos, Stray Kids are seen looking towards the camera between pillars filled with numerous people facing the opposite direction. This image, illustrating the title track "Social Path (feat. LiSA)", has stirred fans' curiosity about the story within the new songs.

Ahead of the new album release, they will be visiting local fans starting in August through the 'Stray Kids 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023'. As the first 4th generation K-pop boy group to launch a tour across Japan's four major domes, the tour is generating significant attention. It will be a grand event taking place in four Japanese cities: Fukuoka PayPay Dome on August 16-17, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on September 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 9-10, and Tokyo Dome on October 28-29.

On September 30 and October 1, they will return home to perform a special solo concert named "Seoul Special" at the KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa District, reciprocating the passionate support and love from their domestic fans.
