BTS's Jungkook has set a significant record as the first and longest-standing K-pop artist to top the Spotify Global Chart.

Jungkook's first solo single, 'Seven,' released on July 14, took the number one spot on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart on July 23.

'Seven' has climbed to the top with 10,599,362 streams (after filtering), marking Jungkook as the first and longest-standing K-pop artist to top Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart for ten consecutive days, highlighting his soaring popularity.

'Seven' is also making a dazzling debut record on Spotify's weekly chart. 'Seven' topped the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart from July 14 to 20. It also took the top spot on the 'Weekly Top Songs' chart in Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Pakistan, Belarus, and Ukraine. On the US 'Weekly Top Songs' chart, it ranked third with 10,357,560 streams (after filtering), achieving the highest debut ranking and most streams for a K-pop artist.

'Seven' recorded the highest-ever debut streaming in Vietnam and Pakistan, the highest for a K-pop artist in the UK, India, and Korea, and the highest for a K-pop solo artist in Japan. Moreover, from July 14 to 16, it topped the UK Top Songs debut chart and has continued to break unprecedented records by reaching 50 million streams in the shortest time in Spotify's history - just three days - and 100 million streams within six days (before filtering).

'Seven' also took third place in the UK Official 'Singles Chart Top 100', considered one of the world's two major music charts alongside the US Billboard. Jungkook debuted in the top five immediately upon release, a first for a Korean solo artist. On the global music platform iTunes, 'Seven' broke records by topping the iTunes Top Songs chart in 113 countries (regions) and remained at number one on the Worldwide iTunes Top Songs chart for ten consecutive days as of July 23.

Just ten days after its release, 'Seven' has surpassed 150 million streams on Spotify (before filtering).

Meanwhile, according to Billboard on July 24 (local time), Jungkook's 'Seven' debuted at number one on the main singles chart 'Hot 100' for the week of July 29. 'Seven' recorded 21.9 million streams, 6.4 million radio scores, and a combined digital and CD sales of 153,000 during the chart's tracking period.
